  • GUEST SERVICE AGENT
    Contract dates: mid May - October 6
    Wage: $8.00/hr.
    Bonuses: (only paid if contract is fulfilled) $1.50 per hour, plus additional monthly incentives TBA
    Gratuities: Varies
    Work week: 40 hours / full time position
    Requirements:
    Computer literacy and prior guest (customer) service are required.  Successful candidates will be out-going, self-motivated individuals who love the outdoors and interaction with people.  Given our unique and naturally spectacular location, all applicants must have a desire and commitment to learn and practice environmental stewardship and heritage tourism. You must be prepared to have the summer of your life!   Prior front desk experience an asset but not required.  
    Duties:
    Guest service, check-in /out of guests, reservations, concierge services, interaction with other departments within the lodge.  Cash and credit card handling and daily balancing.

    ROOM & GROUNDS ATTENDANT
    Contract dates: mid May - October 6
    Wage: $8.00/hr.

    Work week: 40 hours / full time position
    Requirements:
    Prior housekeeping experience not required. Successful candidates will be out-going, self-motivated individuals who love the outdoors and interaction with people. Given our unique and naturally spectacular location, all applicants must have a desire and commitment to learn and practice environmental stewardship and heritage tourism. You must be prepared to have the summer of your life!  
    Duties:
    Cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, main lodge, public areas and some grounds work.

    DINING ROOM SERVER
    Contract dates: mid May - October 6
    Wage: $8.00/hr + bonus if contract completed
    Bonuses: (only paid if contract is fulfilled) Bonus if contract completed plus additional monthly incentives
    Gratuities: Varies upon sales (on average 15% of your sales)
    Work week: full time position
    Requirements:
    Prior fine dining table and wine service experience necessary for night positions.   Prior serving experience required for day servers.  Successful candidates will be out-going, self-motivated individuals who love the outdoors and interaction with people. Given our unique and naturally spectacular location, all applicants must have a desire and commitment to learn and practice environmental stewardship and heritage tourism. You must be prepared to have the summer of your life!  
    Duties:
    Table service and tour lunches.  Providing our guests in the dining room the highest level of professional and courteous service.

    CULINARY TEAM MEMBERS
    Contract dates: mid May - October 6
    Wage: Cooks $8.00/hr.- $12.00/hr. + (pending experience)
    Bonuses: (only paid if contract is fulfilled) $1.50 per hour (payable at end of operating season)
    Gratuities: "tip out" from servers - varies with total sales
    Work week: 40 hours / full time position
    Requirements:
    Prior kitchen (prepping, food safe, line service) in a similar environment required.  Candidates should have a strong background in creative cooking with emphasis on preparations from scratch. Candidates should be career minded, self-motivated individuals who love the outdoors and interaction with people. Given our unique and naturally spectacular location, all applicants must have a desire and commitment to learn and practice environmental stewardship and heritage tourism. You must be prepared to have the summer of your life!  
    Duties:
    Prep and cook meals for our guests, maintain a clean and safe work area, and plate only the highest quality product possible.

    EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
    Contract dates: mid May - October 6
    Wage: $1800 / mth. - starting

    Work week: 40 + hours / full time position
    Requirements:
    Prior housekeeping experience a requirement and supervisory experience an asset.  Out-going, self-motivated individuals who love the outdoors and interaction with people. Given our unique and naturally spectacular location, all applicants must have a desire and commitment to learn and practice environmental stewardship and heritage tourism. You must be prepared to have the summer of your life!  
    Duties:
    Supervision of 5 team members, training, expense and labour budget, scheduling and payroll, supplier correspondence, inventory control, maintenance of the highest level of cleanliness, weekly manager's meetings and willingness to work with "hands on".

    SOUS CHEF
    Contract dates: mid May - October 10
    Wage: Starting at $13 per hour

    Work week: 40 + hours / full time position
    Requirements:
    Computer literacy and prior guest (customer) service are required.  Prior fine dining experience is essential and a minimum of 1 year supervisory / management experience. Out-going, self-motivated individuals who love the outdoors and interaction with people. Given our unique and naturally spectacular location, all applicants must have a desire and commitment to learn and practice environmental stewardship and heritage tourism. You must be prepared to have the summer of your life!  
    Duties:
    As the Sous Chef you are part of the Cathedral Mountain food & beverage team responsible for food and guest service in the dining room, patios and Team Member meals. Main duties include preparing and cooking meals, ordering and inventory control, assisting with the training of team members, menu development, maintaining a positive team oriented work environment and strong working relationship with the Executive Chef. On the Chef’s days off you are required to oversee the F&B operations as a whole.

    STAFF ACCOMMODATIONS / MEALS etc.
    Staff accommodations, meals and amenities are provided to all team members at a cost of $13.00/day. Included are the following: private room shared with 1 or 2 other team members, private bathroom with shower shared with 1 or 2 other team members, all bedding, desk, lamp and armoire, internet & computer use, movie rentals, laundry facilities. All meals and snacks / beverages are included - staff cafeteria hours are: 6:30am - 11:00pm. Cathedral Mountain Lodge also has a staff car for team member use and employees and a recreation coordinator to plan events exclusively for our valued team members!
